A vintage railcar diner in Virginia is finally getting some publicity, built in 1954, reopened in the 70's... then in the 90's bought by a waitress who worked there for 7 years, and still owned and ran by her

The Exmore Diner was originally a railcar brought down to Exmore from New Jersey by the Diner's first owner in 1954. The Diner closed in the late 50s, then reopened in the 70s under new management. Evelyn Pruitt, who worked as a waitress here for seven years, bought the Diner in 1989. Today the Diner is a family run operation employing her son Sean and daughter-in-law Crystal.
