NEWS: Laponie Ice Driving Group Discounts

Our pals in Lapland – Laponie Ice Driving – are offering some mega rates for groups of three, six or nine drivers this year. So there's never been a better time to live that dream, get a gang of friends or family together, head off to see Santa, and have the most oversteer fun possible in amazing cars, in a stunning location, with amazing tuition – from the likes of Yvan Muller.
Laponie sort out all the transfers, ground transport, accommodation, meals and everything, as well as the actual courses themselves – done an frozen lakes in Lapland, with some amazing cars to pick from their 28-strong fleet – including Porsche Boxters and Caymans, Corvette Z06’s, Porsche 997 GT3’s, Lamborghini Gallardo’s and Audi RS4’s, in addition to six new Subaru Impreza STI’s.
The new group packages means that each driver will enjoy eight sessions of 20-minutes intensive driving each day in a Porsche Cayman S, a Porsche GT3 and a Corvette Z06.
Laponie say: "The whole package represents excellent value, as well as a considerable saving over the equivalent individual cost. Now in our eighth year, Laponie Ice Driving offers a no-compromise driving experience to all- from beginners to professional racers. Instructors include experienced racing drivers as well as the ice-king, Yvan Muller. We are also the only company permitted to reproduce both the Silverstone and Le Castellet circuit layouts on ice."

NEWS: RMA Track Club Get Porsche Cayman S Tuition Car

Road track day buddies, RMA (http://www.rmatrackdays.com/) have added another reason to join them on their exciting 2012 track day forays – a Porsche Cayman S tuition vehicle. The 170mph, stable, quick, mid-engined, rear wheel-drive Porsche with 320bhp is a fabulous track tool, and great fun to learn in – especially fitted with super grippy Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tyres and equipped with Racelogic's Video VBOX data logging video tool, to see where you are going wrong, or getting it right. RMA boss, Graham Clarke said: "The car will principally be used by Leyton (his son & ARDS instructor, http://leytonclarke.com/) but will occasionally be available for hot laps, track day hire and corporate use." Looks like another great reason to get involved... along with the overtaking either side, low numbers, great cars, fabulous atmosphere RMA philosophy. See their dates at many UK and European circuits here: http://www.rmatrackdays.com/trackdays/events.asp, starting at Brands Hatch, March 28th. We'll see you there...
